What are the iconic Yosemite formations? I think for anyone familiar with the park, the images that first come to mind are El Capitan and Half Dome.

Always, always have a headlamp
I LOVE Yosemite. In the two years that I’ve been a California resident, I’ve visited this phenomenal park probably two dozen times. I’ve done almost every Valley hike, and I’m making progress on covering the high country trails off Tioga Pass. It’s an addiction, and I want to hike every mile of the park.
Las Vegas, my way
People come to Las Vegas from all over the world. The lights, the sounds, the people-watching…it all can be exciting and mesmerizing.

Well, here we are.
I’ve always liked writing. I kept a couple of weird journals as a kid about everything from roller coaster riding goals, to my introduction to rock climbing at summer camp. My first diary was pink with teal ballet shoes on the cover, and when unlocked, the first page was full of fun facts about my six year old self. Continue reading
